Anita's Applique Needles
I like the extra length of these Straw or Milliner needles and feel that they give me a little more needle to work with and better control for my needle-turn applique.

The #11 is slender and will allow you to take very small stitches.
The eye on the #11 is small, but will accept some needle threaders.

The #10 is slightly heavier and has an eye which is easy to thread. I personally like the feel of the #10 and find that I can still make very fine stitches with this size. Both of these needles are also good choices for hand piecing if you are so inclined. 20 per pkg.

The #11 quilting needle is a hybrid size. It is as short as a #12, but has the strength and good eye of a #10.

I find them easy to thread and I rarely bend or break one.

A small needle gives me the smallest hand quilting stitch possible. 15 per pkg
