After almost 50 years of quilting and collecting, I find I need to downsize a bit. It seems I have more quilting tools, hoops, frames, etc. than anyone could use in several lifetimes. I'm happy to see a new generation of people interested in handwork and I'd like these tools to go to people who will really use them.

Some of these frames are old, well-loved pieces, and some are new or barely used.

Vintage Quilt Blocks

All pieces shown here are in the condition I acquired them. None have been washed, ironed, or altered. Most are in good to excellent condition. If there are spots or damage I have tried to show them in photos.
These pieces show the work of skilled and loving hands and can be appreciated for what they are, used in study or teaching samples, or finished as new work,

7" Pieced, appliqued, and quilted Lily block with fabrics c1840-50. Excellent teaching sample of period fabrics. Red fabric shows damage caused by iron mordant used in black dye of the period. $25
