Lectures and Workshops

Quilt Rescue
How many thousands of antique tops are out there, waiting to be finished? And how many more are we adding to that pile every day? Should we try to catch up on the backlog from previous quilt makers or just try to keep up with our own? Which quilt tops should not be quilted? See Anita’s adventures in quilting old tops, including interesting rescues and exciting redesigns. Power Point and large trunk show.

Power Point, plus I will share many examples of clothing I have made and worn through my years of teaching and lecturing. Time will be allowed for attendees to bring other pieces for show and tell.

Personalizing Your Quilts
There are many ways to add a personal touch to your quilts - some very simple and some that go a step beyond what you might be familiar with now. The inspiration is always the biggest step. After the idea is formed, the design just seems to fall into place. But...where do the ideas come from? See the many places quilters have found inspiration for their applique quilts.
